Possum Pride Trike Bodies

Here are pictures of our quality bodies and accessories. All of these products are made of durable fiber glass and are offered in Gray, Black, or White jell coat. As with all Fiber Glass products, you will need to prepare this fiber glass for the quality of finish that meets your standards. This is what you need to start building your custom VW trike.

Steering Neck & Body Mount

Made for Possum Pride Bodies, ready to weld to your VW IRS suspension. The neck frame is made out of 2" by 2" heavy wall tubing. The steering neck is welded on a 37 degree rake with neck stops and 1" bearings & dust caps. The body mount is made of 1-1/2" by 1-1/2" by 1/4" angle iron and goes from shock tower to shock tower and is used to support and bolt the passenger´s seat to. All the critical welding is done by SAT Motor Sports, www.satmotorsports.com, also located in Ava, Mo., known for their motorcycle frames sold all over the world.

Steering Neck Welded To & Including IRS Suspension

The neck frame & body mount is welded to, and mounted to, a surplus IRS suspension (if available) that will be sand blasted and primer painted. You will be responsible for the bushings, bearings, mechanics, and the breaks.

Brake & Clutch Pedals & Mounting Yoke Only

Brake and clutch pedals are made from 3/8" material with a 3/4" all thread shaft with locking nuts; yoke is made from 5/16" material laser cut.

Brake & Clutch System

Brake and clutch are made from 3/8" material. The EMPI break master cylinder is 5/8" bore, the clutch is a 3/4" bore, with heim rod ends connected to the master cylinders.

Adjustable T-Bar

Made to be adjusted for different leg length´s, and comes with chrome accent foot pegs on the ends of the cross tube.

Battery Box

Made for a 7-1/2" by 9-1/2" by 7-1/2" tall battery from your local discount chain or auto parts store and mounted to the body mount cross piece that goes from shock tower to shock tower.

Shifter Box

The shifter box is welded on the left side of the neck frame for a 4 speed transmission.

Tow Bar

6 foot long with an adjustable front wheel mount that is 4" wide with a coupler for a 2" ball, made out of 1" by 1" square tubing 11 gage material. Comes with a 7/8" pin and 2" by 2" "C" clevis made of 3/8" thick material. Primer painted.
