1. The Trike Trailer: 

This new unique special top of the line trike trailer was designed this way after studying several home made trike trailers over the last few years.

My design criteria was to make a trailer with a low ride height suspension, no ramps to handle, an adjustable front wheel lock for different length trikes, simple to load & to lock down, and maintenance free.  What I added was a Redneck 3500 pound Torflex rubber torsion suspension axle with 3 each 15” tires and 5” on 5” rims, a jack stand, 2” ball coupler, electric brakes, and EZ-lube hubs.

The material I used to make the tongue and cross piece is 3” x 3” x 3/16” square tubing, the side braces are made out of 2” x 3” x 1/8” rectangular tubing, and the ramp is made out of 1-/12” x 1-1/2” x 1/8” square tubing.  The spare tire and hold down bars are made out of ¾” bar stock.  The fenders are very light plastic.  The frame was sand blasted, then power coated, & baked on in an oven.  It comes with a full size spare tire with a cable lock.

The shortest trike that will fit will be 93” long from the center of your back tire to the front of your front tire.  The longest trike would be 128” long.  The full with of your trike can be 81” wide from outside to outside.  The ramp is 48” long and the ramp is 6” off of the ground.
